Se expone el discurso oficial de la dictadura de Rafael Leónidas Trujillo sobre el problema étnico. Se reflexiona sobre los prejuicios raciales en la intelectualidad dominicana durante el régimen trujillista. Se analiza la postura crítica de Vetilio Alfau a la ideología trujillista.
